Luka Arabidze BEYOND THE PERCEPTION

Reality never exists on its own. It emerges through perception, shaped by memory, language, culture, personal experience, and countless invisible mechanisms that determine what appears natural, possible, and true. The more familiar these mechanisms become, the less visible their influence appears.

Beyond the Perception explores the boundaries within which human experience is formed. Personal biography, collective memory, and cultural heritage cease to exist as independent phenomena, becoming a single framework through which reality is interpreted. We do not simply construct the systems that shape our existence; over time, those systems begin to construct us.

The exhibition does not promise liberation, nor does it oppose one system to another. Instead, it understands movement as the force that interrupts static conditions and reveals the limits of every stable form.

Structures do not disappear, they continuously transform, creating the possibility of perceiving reality differently. In this context, freedom is neither a final state nor the rejection of existing systems; it is the capacity to move beyond habitual modes of perception, to reconsider what is already known, and to open space for new meanings.
